No clinic is complete without a cat! I am the longest tenured employee and have decided I’m in it for life! I oversee the events around here and am happy to greet you. I always enjoy a good head rub!
Abbi - Receptionist
Abby has been shadowing with Dr. Elise for a few years, and started as full-time staff in 2023. Abbi completed her undergraduate degree at USD and is planning to pursue veterinary school. Abbi enjoys helping our wonderful clients and is always a warm, smiling face to have around the clinic.
ASHLEY - VET TECH
Ashley joined us in 2023 and is a certified veterinary technician, completing her degree in Sioux Falls at STC. She enjoys a mix of both small and large animal. When not at the clinic, she loves to spend her free time with her son and fiance, along with her dog, Bear.
Myah - Vet assistant
Myah has been with Dr. Elise and Owen the longest as she started out shadowing Dr. Elise when she first took over the practice back in June of 2019.
Sara - Kennel Tech
Sara is a Senior at Canton High School. When she isn’t here at the clinic she is busy with sports including cross country, track, and wrestling.
Elly - Kennel tech
Elly is a Senior at Alcester-Hudson and wants a job in the Veterinary field someday! She currently helps keep the place running by taking care of boarding dogs and keeping the place sparkling.
Tessa - Kennel Tech
Tessa is a Senior at Beresford High School who loves animals, shows in 4H, and is one of our amazing FFA officers for BHS.
Penny - Kennel Tech
Although Penny is now part of a 4H extension group, she still enjoys spending time helping care for the pets at BVC, and it’s great to have her help!
BRAYDEN - KENNEL tECH
Brayden has been at BVC for a few years. He enjoys doing kennel work while also helping with the occasional appointment - large or small animal. He plans to attend school for a veterinary technician degree in the future.
Dexton - kennel tech
Dexton is the newest to the BVC staff. He started in 2023 and is quickly becoming one of the gang! We look forward to having him on staff!
